LifeGroups
Pine Ridge Church LifeGroups exist so that people can experience life-change, through building a community that is passionate about doing life together.Pine Ridge Church is committed to a culture of community. True spiritual growth takes place as we build relationships in settings that encourage transparency and openness. LifeGroups that meet together in people's homes on a regular basis provide that setting. If you join a LifeGroup at Pine Ridge Church, here's what you can expect:
//engaging with sermons on a deeper level
//the ability to apply Biblical principles and sermon topics to your own life
//the chance to serve, as a Life Group, at various outreach opportunities
//opportunities to connect and build relationships with other people
We hope that as you become connected with the vision of Pine Ridge Church, you will take the next step with us and join a LifeGroup.

Why should I join a LifeGroup?
We believe that you can only move so far on your spiritually journey without others. Being in a group will help you develop lasting friendships that will push you further faster on your spiritual journey. Also, groups are just a great place to make friends and realize you are not alone in whatever you are going through. Groups celebrate successes and help each other through the tough times.
Do I have to be a member of Pine Ridge Church to join a LifeGroup?
No way. Groups are for anyone and everyone at Pine Ridge.
What happens in a LifeGroup?
You show up and eat some snacks and hang out for about 20 minutes. After that we move to our Message Based Curriculum time for about 40 minutes. That means that we talk about the message from the previous weekend in a creative way. It allows everyone to have the opportunity to ask questions about things they didn’t understand. Also, the discussion is highly practical to your life. Notice we said discussion. Our leaders facilitate conversation, they do not preach! It isn’t a bunch of theological jargon that only a few can understand. It is for everyone at every point in their journey. Then the groups move into a time of prayer! Then they hang out for a little while and go home.
Where do LifeGroups meet?
They meet all over our area in host homes. You can usually find a group within 10-15 minutes of your house.
Is there childcare available?
It depends on the group. Most groups have childcare. The group finds its own place to house the children. A childcare worker or two usually take care of the little ones during the group time.
What if I don't like the first group I try?
Try another one! We understand that every person is not going to click the first night, so we ask that you hang in your group for at least 5 weeks. Usually after 5 weeks of consistently attending groups will gel, but by all means if you want to try a new group just let us know. If you would like to try a different group, please e-mail Brandon Delk at brandon@pineridgechurch.com.
Can I start my own group?
We are always looking for new leaders and hosts. We would love to get your information and talk with you about starting a group at some point. We have strategic times in the year when we launch new groups. If you are interested, email brandon@pineridgechurch.com and he will set-up a time to meet with you.
How do I get into a LifeGroup?
