Volunteer Staff
Some churches have members - we have volunteers! Our Volunteer Staff are the VIP of Pine Ridge Church! We have a huge volunteer force of talented, gifted, unique and committed "unpaid staff." By joining a team, you are not only impacting the community by serving, you are able to build relationships and experience community with your team.
If you want to become a part of what we're doing - to connect, learn, grow, and impact our city - we welcome you with open arms and no strings attached. Volunteer Staff is the best way for you to connect at Pine Ridge Church.
To become a volunteer, simply:
1. Choose an area or team of interest
2. Complete a First Serve
Once you’ve chosen an area or specific team of interest, you will be scheduled for your First Serve in Volunteering. It includes a brief orientation to Pine Ridge Church and the opportunity to shadow your area or team of interest. The First Serve is designed to assist you in finding the team that you connect best with and enhance the most.
3. Complete Volunteer Orientation
Volunteer Orientation is a time that is dedicated to walking through the culture of volunteer staff at Pine Ridge Church. You will walk away from volunteer orientation knowing the values of Pine Ridge Church, and understanding how you will be a part of the volunteer culture.
4. Commit to Volunteering
At Pine Ridge, the initial commitment period is three months. Once you’ve volunteered in a role for three months, you may continue in that role, try something different, or take a break from volunteering.
PRC Kids
Passionate about seeing children excited about church? PRC Kids has opportunities from interacting directly with kids to behind-the-scenes roles. No matter what gifts or abilities you have, use them to impact children’s lives.
Guest Services
Love people? Want to be part of creating a lasting first experience for our guests at Pine Ridge? Guest Services provides you the opportunity to do just that, through one-on-one conversations or in behind-the-scenes roles.
Production
Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and value excellence? Like the thoughts of working “behind-the-scenes” to help create a smooth-running worship experience each week? Production offers both technical and non-technical opportunities.

How do I find out what volunteer opportunities are available?
Volunteer opportunities are grouped according to four main areas; PRC Kids, Guest Services, and Production.
How do I become a part of Volunteer Staff?
When you have decided what team you are most interested in, complete the volunteer interest form and you will be contacted by a volunteer coordinator who will walk you through the process of connecting to a team.
What is expected of me?
Expectations will vary from role to role, however you can rest assured there is a process in place to ensure that you are equipped and trained. We value your interest in connecting to volunteer staff and every team has a team leader who will make sure that you know exactly how your role is essential to the culture of Pine Ridge Church, and will train you on the process of that role.
Is there a place on Volunteer Staff for me?
Absolutely! You have been created and designed by God with unique strengths that no one else can offer. Volunteer Staff is a great opportunity for you to live those strengths out by connecting to a team and contributing to our Sunday morning worship experiences.
